Pros: Great sounding and deep bass
Cons: Died after 3 years of light use
Overall Review: I would not recommend this sub to anyone. Just died last night in the middle of a movie. LED on the back of the unit stayed red and there was a rhythmic thumping/hissing.
Going to pickup a Klipsch from BB today.
Pros: Large capacity
Cons: Poor quality control.
Overall Review: I ordered 4 drives for my Synology and the first one reported multiple I/O errors and bad sectors. The 2nd one wouldn’t even initialize in my NAS or my PC. Sending both back RMA hopefully the replacements work.
Pros: Fast Transfer speeds
Pros: Running this with my 2950x. I have had no issues with this board, it's been very stable and very easy to work with. There are a ton of options in BIOS that I have never touched, and honestly have no idea what to do with!
Pros: Half the time I'm using my new build I feel like it's so overkill (like while writing this review). However, the days that I have 3 instances of Vegas open, rendering 3 - 4k videos, Photoshop open, Outlook, 20 tabs of Firefox, and playing Overwatch, - and it DOESN'T SLOW DOWN - those are the days I can justify spending the money.
Overall Review: I would buy this again over and over.
Cooling options were limited, but I was going with a full loop anyhow, so that wasn't a huge issue.
Pros: Fast RAM - compatible with Asus x399 gaming motheboard and Ryzen 2950x.
With some tweaking in BIOS was able to get it stable at 3200.
Cons: Did not want to stay stable at 3200 without some tweaking in BIOS.
Pros: This case feels like a very solid, high quality piece of machinery. It is very heavy with the tempered glass doors installed. Lots of room to work in and my custom loop fits in there perfectly. The Riing fans are nice and customizable.
Cons: Would be nice if it came with a PCI riser.
As other people have mentioned running your power cables to the motherboard can be very tight with an EATX board - try and run the cable prior to mounting the board to the case.
Overall Review: I would purchase again, and would recommend for anyone looking for a case that can handle EATX and water cooling.
Pros: Very quiet. Fans at full speed and I can barely hear them. I upgraded from a Zalman 9700 and that thing was LOUD at full speed.
Now for the temps.
Running a AMD 965 Black Edition, OC'd to 3700 with 1.4v. The Zalman at idle was around 42 and 62 under load. The Noctua is 32 idle and 42-44 under load ( so far ).
Cons: Only con that I can think of is the massive size. This thing is huge, bigger than my power supply. I had to remove the fan on the side of my case in order to clear the Noctua.
Overall Review: Glad I purchased this. I had thought about getting one of the cheaper hydro unites from Corsair. For the noise level alone, now I'm going to work on getting this CPU to 4ghz on air.
