rediculously fast
Pros: Runs everything faster than ever. I'm upgrading from a first-gen 2.4Ghz P4 so maaaajor upgrade. Windows boots in seconds, games have never been so fast. Video rendering on 2 cores simultaneously is a dream come true. Stock heatsink is very good (idles around 33C and hasn't gotten above 48C under load yet). Installs program insanely fast (install a 900mb program and defraged an HDD with 120gbs on it simultaneously all in less than 8 minutes).
Cons: price is going to drop significantly when Core 2 Duo comes out (by about half). And AM2 performs worse than 939 on anything less than the best DDR2 800.
Overall Review: Didn't want to wait for the prices to drop, not disappointed. Runs everything maxed out and scores over 25,000 in 3dMark01 SE paired with 1gb DDR2 667 and a 7900GT. Amazing.
Rock solid reliability
Pros: This thing has been rock solid reliable for almost a year is now running a R9 280X and FX-8370E system without an issue. All the connectors I need. Great PSU.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Not modular but my method of cable management is maximum spaghetti so not an issue for me.
Pros: Fast, easy to work with, small packaging, cheap for CAS 9 1866 RAM.
Cons: The heatsinks are a little silly but hey, they were cheap. Might be a concern for small builds with minimal room.
Pros: Easy to set up, comes with 2 SATA cables, looks good, BIOS is easy to use and functional, took a FX-8370E without issues, easy to find drivers online from Biostar if you don't have a DVD drive for the included CD.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Didn't have an IDE connector, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised considering how outdated that tech is but it meant I had to order a new DVD drive with an SATA connector.
Pros: Looks good, solid construction, quiet once its all slapped together and a nice 120mm fan included. Cheap!
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Was looking for a cheap, attractive and understated replacement for my old teenager-special, flashy, lime green, windowed case which was had become pretty embarrassing to have sitting out in the living room. This case fits the bill perfectly, and it takes up a smaller footprint than the old case to boot - I believe this is one of the smaller ATX cases on the market and that is exactly what I wanted. Fits everything perfectly, cable management is a breeze and it is noticeably quieter than the old case. The 120mm fan included is nice and the front intake grate takes either a 120mm or an 80mm fan. It's a nice case for the price.
Pros: Fits and works better than the original battery it replaced ever did.
Cons: None
