Pros: Given that I got this thing for 110$ during the black Friday sale I'd say everything about this item is amazing.
Pros: Easy to install and quality RAM at a bargain price.
Cons: None to speak of.
Overall Review: Not exactly a flaw with the RAM but worth pointing out that on some MOBOs it may require some additional finesse to seat it properly because of its shape. Also on the ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming the XMP setting did not detect the RAM at 2400 and defaulted to 2133. I was able to set it manually, but still kind of a pain.
Pros: It's a good portable charging station for my phone and I got it for free so can't really complain too much.
Cons: It has a smaller charging capacity than I expected. Maybe 1 hour charging a device before it needs to be charged. Could have been better.
Pros: Runs like a dream, as an avid gamer this is the perfect processor. Low power consumption, low temperatures. 25-30C idle and 65 C at peak loads. I wasn't a huge fan of the last gen intel processors, but this is what I more expect from intel... greatness.
Overall Review: Not a con more of a suggestion when installing the heatsink that comes with this CPU make sure all of the pins are turned the correct direction I recommend using a flashlight because the arrows are somewhat difficult to see.
Pros: This card is truly a masterpiece. With the exception of 3DMark 11's 4K test this card rips through everything like it was made of tissue. Even on the 4K tests it still maintains around 30-40 FPS. Now that I've got a card that is liquid cooled I'll probably never go back to air cooled. Under full load I've yet to have temperatures break 55 C. It's super quiet and I've gotten none of the reported pump whine from prior models.
Overall Review: If you can afford the price tag and are a gaming enthusiast with an eye to future for 4K gaming there is no reason to not get this card.
Pros: Great power supply, incredibly quiet, and very little noticeable heat increases. Easily supports my R9 Fury X.
Pros: It's a great motherboard with an easy to use and easy to understand BIOS. Great tools and utilities come with it for free. AI Suite 3 makes testing idle and peak temperatures for MOBO and CPU easy especially if you're overclocking.
Cons: Did not come with a system speaker. Thankfully my old computer had one, but this seems like a little bit of an oversight given how much troubleshooting information you get from those beeps, especially if you're a system builder like myself. Over than that my RAM defaulted to 2133 instead of 2400. If you have this issue go into the BIOS and go to advanced settings and look for RAM/Memory settings to set it manually. I was surprised there was no auto detect setting for it given all of the other easy tuning options that were available.
Overall Review: I think this is a fantastic MOBO even though it has some small flaws, if you're a system builder on a budget this is a great product to get especially if you can find it on sale.
Pros: So just to break down the key points on this beast of a tower. It's huge, even with a R9 Fury X and the extra water cooler that comes with it I had plenty of space. It feels sturdy, I know that might sound a bit odd, but many "steel" towers often feel like cheap plastic with some metal thrown in for aesthetics. The price, I got this on sale so honestly for what I got I don't think there's anything around that could have beat it.
Cons: The only negative thing I could say about this case is somewhat poor cable management and the instructions were showing the wrong images for some of the screws, but not enough to knock off an egg for the product itself.
Pros: I got a free three month subscription to Premier during the Black Friday Event and I'll probably keep it going after it runs out. It's just a great deal especially if you're impatient like I am the free three day shipping is killer.
