The eero 7 is eero's most affordable Wi-Fi 7 mesh router, built for households upgrading to multi-gig internet plans and next-generation wireless devices without paying flagship pricing. It can be used as a standalone gateway or as an extender within an existing eero network, giving households a flexible entry point into Wi-Fi 7. Each eero 7 unit is a dual-band router with a 2x2 antenna array (2.4GHz: 2x2, 5GHz: 2x2, 2x2/2x2 SU-MIMO) supporting the full Wi-Fi 7 standard (802.11a/b/n/ac/ax/be) with a BE5000 rating and channel widths up to 240MHz, delivering wireless speeds up to 1.8Gbps. Two auto-sensing 2.5GbE wired ports support wired speeds up to 2.5Gbps, making the eero 7 well matched to internet plans up to 2.5Gbps. A Wi-Fi 7 feature, Multi-Link Operation (MLO), reduces latency and improves connectivity and speed for MLO-capable client devices compared to standard operation. Each unit covers up to 2,000 sq. ft. (190 sq. m.) of indoor coverage and supports 120 or more connected devices, so a single eero 7 or a multi-pack mesh setup can blanket a home in reliable Wi-Fi 7 coverage. eero's patented TrueMesh software works together with TrueRoam and TrueChannel technology to proactively keep every device connected to the optimal, most reliable access point and channel as you move through your home, minimizing dropouts and dead zones. Automatic channel selection further reduces interference from neighboring networks. Beyond networking, the eero 7 doubles as a built-in smart home hub: it's Thread compatible, Zigbee-compatible as a controller, and Matter compliant, letting you connect and control compatible smart home devices directly through Alexa and the eero app without a separate hub. It's fully backward compatible with all previous generations of eero hardware and works alongside current Wi-Fi 7 eero products like eero Max 7 and eero Outdoor 7. Measuring 5.12 x 5.12 x 2.52 inches (130 x 130 x 64mm) and designed to sit on a flat, raised surface away from reflective materials, each eero 7 is powered by an included 15W USB-C power adapter (100-240V AC, 50/60Hz) and ships with a Cat5e Ethernet cable for wired setup.
