The Spracht HS-WD-USB-2 is a wired, on-ear computer headset with a noise-canceling microphone, 40mm speakers, and in-line volume and mute controls, suited to Windows or macOS users who regularly join video or conference calls.
Recommended For
- Remote or hybrid workers who spend much of the day on Zoom, Teams, Skype, or other PC/Mac softphone calls and want a wired, dual-ear headset.
- Desk-based support or service staff who need a USB-connected headset with easy-to-reach inline volume and microphone-mute controls during calls.
- People taking calls in a busy home office or shared workspace who want the headset’s noise-canceling microphone to reduce background noise picked up by their voice channel.
- Frequent callers who prefer a lightweight, wired headset with leatherette ear cushions and a microphone boom that can be positioned on either side.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- During work-from-home Zoom or Teams meetings, a user can hear the conversation through both earcups and adjust volume or mute the microphone from the cord, without searching through meeting controls.
- For back-to-back softphone or VoIP calls on a PC or Mac, the wired USB connection avoids relying on a wireless headset battery, while the boom microphone and inline controls support everyday call handling.
- In a home office or shared workspace with some background activity, the noise-canceling microphone is intended to reduce background sounds picked up by the mic, helping callers hear the headset user more clearly; it does not amount to noise cancellation for the wearer.
- When a user spends extended periods on online meetings or phone calls, the on-ear cushions and padded headband are intended for everyday wear; comfort will still depend on individual fit and preference.
- For calls where the user wants to keep the mic on a preferred side, the rotating boom can be repositioned on the left or right, making it easier to fit the headset into a usual desk setup.
