Not a binned chip

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X AMD50 Gold Edition 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 YD270XBGAFA50 Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X AMD50 Gold Edition 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 YD270XBGAFA50 Desktop Processor

Pros: Free games, was going to buy the games it came with and this just made it easy to buy chip. I like the 50th Anniversary mile stone for AMD, just wished they would have help back binned chips for this release. Was able to get it higher than my previous 2700x (which now is in my sons rig). That went to 4.2 all core on water and this one hits 4.325 all core. So, yeah..... nothing to exciting.

Cons: Not a binned chip... I guess that's a con???? :P

Perfect for a Ryzen 5 5600G Media PC

Fractal Design Node 202 Black Slim Profile Mini-ITX Computer Case
Fractal Design Node 202 Black Slim Profile Mini-ITX Computer Case

Pros: Easy to assemble Temps have been great Horizontal and vertical use

Cons: I have none to list as it was perfect for what I needed

Overall Review: was a perfect fit for my Theater Room If installing a dedicated GPU, verify the size of the card vs the max GPU supported.

Great value

XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX-57XT8MFD6
XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Video Card RX-57XT8MFD6

Pros: Great value, Performance /per watt /per price. I honestly never hear the fan so no complaints.

Cons: Drivers have been touch n' go for a lot of people and review sites, would have liked more stable drivers at launch.

Overall Review: The card is a Blower style, yes, but it still runs great. Card competes with my Main rig with the Radeon VII in some games, but over all is slower, but not that much. Installed on X399 Asus Prime board with ThreadRipper 2950x and 64GB of RAM

Well rounded

GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE AMD Ryzen 3000 PCIe 4.0 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 AMD X570 ATX Motherboard
GIGABYTE X570 AORUS ELITE AMD Ryzen 3000 PCIe 4.0 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.2 AMD X570 ATX Motherboard

Pros: This is a decent priced X570 board and has all features I needed PWM is Overkill and runs extremely cool Has Headless and CPU-less BIOS Flashback option Plenty of RGB Headers to connecting about anything you want, if that is your thing

Cons: No Onboard Debug LED if doing Extreme Overclocking No onboard Power if doing OC on Bench setup

Overall Review: So far, I really like the Board, nice CPU OCing options in BIOS, but only useful for extreme cooling for OCing.

3700x

AMD Ryzen 7 3rd Gen - RYZEN 7 3700X Matisse (Zen 2) 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000071BOX Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 3rd Gen - RYZEN 7 3700X Matisse (Zen 2) 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000071BOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Great CPU out of the box, higher IPC and lower power draw than Intel equivalent. Comes with decent cooler, EFR works great Ran on B350 Tomahawk, Prime X470 Pro and X570 Aorus Elite. Had same results on all of them Memory OCing is much better, but found 3600 with Infinity Fabric at same speed (1:1)

Cons: Max Turbo is not guaranteed , require very good cooling to achieve.

Overall Review: Okay, some reviews from non verified owners stating CPU is not good, please ignore. That said, this CPU is great the cooler to run it. All stock and no PBO the Chip hits 4.2ghz all core in Cinabench R20 and R15. Using custom whole house water loop, water temps are 20*C. Ran on Stock Air cooler and it was around 4ghz all core. Boost was 4.2ish with Air cooler and I hit 4.4 on Water loop. 538-542 CPUz single thread with Water and 524-528 with Air cooler. I suggest people go look at Hardware Unboxed on YouTube.com to see there 36+ game review.

Um, yeah. This thing is fantstic!

AMD Ryzen 7 2nd Gen - Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge (Zen+) 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W YD270XBGAFBOX Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 2nd Gen - Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge (Zen+) 8-Core 3.7 GHz (4.3 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 105W YD270XBGAFBOX Desktop Processor

Pros: Got the Chip for just under 300.00 and for the price it is a great value. Only do 1080P gaming, and paired it with a Vega 64, and has been a great combo Great in Blender and anything else I throw at it.

Cons: Really can't think of any

Overall Review: Chip like to stay cool to get most of XFR. Under custom whole house water loop, I can get 4.4ghz benchable and 4.3 stable on all cores. Under full load, chip stays under 45*C. Without the custom loop, 4.3 was hard to achieve. Not sure why some are saying the performance was killed with AGESA updates. Haven't noticed this, but also on 1.0.0.6
