Best board at the price point
Pros: -Great VRMs, could easily handle a 3950x -Intel LAN -Sturdy IO shield -Lots of USB ports -Temps are good so far
Cons: -Only two fan headers (three if you count CPU fan), so make sure you have some splitters or molex converters if your case has a lot of fans. -BIOS would reset upon applying one click XMP profile in the "easy mode" section. Enabling XMP in the advanced section solved this issue. Not entirely sure if this is an issue with the BIOS or my RAM. Not a big deal, really.
Overall Review: As far as features go, when you compare this board to more expensive boards, you're looking at stuff like wifi, better VRMs, a post code LED, an extra M2 slot, thunderbolt support, etc. If those things aren't important to you, it's hard to go wrong with the Aorus Elite.
Solid RAM
Pros: -Samsung b-die -Great for any Ryzen build -Easily overclockable
Cons: -One click XMP profile did not work in my Gigabyte BIOS. BIOS would reset upon save and exit. I solved this issue by enabling XMP in the advanced section of my BIOS. Not sure if this is an issue with my BIOS or this ram, but it isn't a big deal.
Overall Review: Running at advertised speeds in my Aorus Elite x570 motherboard + 3700x build. No issues detected by memtest. Edit: OC'd to 3600 mhz cl14 first boot using DRAM calculator safe option. zero errors. Will tighten timings later
Awesome PSU
Pros: Modular!!! No more clutter in your case! This is the first modular PSU I've owned and I'm never going back to non-modular. My case is so clean and pretty. The airflow is superb!
Cons: None
