This is a nice Laptop.
Pros: Fast storage 1650 plus MBPS Boots instantly Ryzen 5 4500U 1920x1080 Screen Windows 10 Pro Turns on when lid is opened. Boots fast. I like this laptop. It came with a PCIe SSD, so it's fast and 256GB of capacity is still nice for a boot drive. I added a 2TB SATA SSD to complete the storage. I am transferring Files to it right now at a steady 36.5 MBPS. Thats nice considering that It's my music that is backed up on a old 500 GB hard drive interfaced with a USB 3 dock. I think that this is the fastest I have seen this hard drive work. This is a very responsive system.
Cons: Lacks Optical Drive internal 8 GB memory, 12 limit because half is soldered to main board.
Overall Review: I like the Laptop overall. It is snappy and responsive. I use it to watch Youtube, Music, Movies (with external Bluray drive I made with a slimline drive enclosure), and I will play entry level games and emulate.
Worst nightmare to cable manage.
Pros: The only case that I could find with any 3.5 inch bays for drives. I needed 1 for a floppy, and one for a card reader. Used it for a Windows XP PC.
Cons: The cable management was the worst I've ever seen. No room behind motherboard tray. Also it has only 2 little holes for running cables. The fan for the front is restricted by a case grill behind the fan that should just be a hole instead. once I cut the metal out the card temp dropped by 10c. Also, I removed the sponge like filter material the front bezel. It was extremely restrictive. I changed out the front fan because eye piercing blue fan in the front of a case that is not windowed is stupid. The LED blue fan is way too bright. Also the power led is too bright. I had to put too peaces of masking tape over it to make it tolerable. The case is too top heavy. PSU is in the top. I'm using a HX 850 to power a HD7970. Also why fan grill in sheet metal is stupid.
Overall Review: In the year 2020 building a computer sucks. Case makers don't have any common sense. There is a bunch that could have been don to make the case better. 1 1/2 inch of room behind motherboard tray would be nice. More holes to run cables. No sheet-metal grill to block airflow. It's like a wall. Fan is quiet in the front, but it is lit really bright and should not be lit at all in a case that doesn't have a window. Also distracting. Can be improved on. 2 Eggs for stupidity.
Work great!
Pros: Plenty of modularity. Platinum rated and true No audible coil whine
Cons: None really
Overall Review: Works well, Runs cool Maintanes ATX formfactor while having a 140mm cooing fan in it. It's quiet. It's stable.
Big and Heavy
Pros: I'm glad I am using a Cousair 650D because it fits perfectly to the huge window in it. The huge heatsink keeps the card cool, no more than 70c with Heaven at defaults. Card uses good old PCIe power, 3 of them, 8pin. Plenty of current can pass through them. RGB looks nice. Will need Aumery Crate to tune it.
Cons: Needs Aumery Crate (Rainbow puke if not used) 3 8 pin PCIE power, Card only needs 2 Big heat sink uses 3 PCIe slots. Card will not work in a small case. 650D territory.
Overall Review: You should probaly run card in a large case. You will need a lot of ventaltion for the heat sink to work properly. At least 1 200mm fan in the front, and top case exhaust 2 120mm fans or 2 140mm fans like in my 650D ATX Midtower case. Card likes updraft fan configuration. I don't have a rear exhaust. Back of case is agant wall anyway.
Unicorn of a case, Needs front fan options from other venders.
Pros: Tons of room when the drive bays are removed. Most modern of motherboards have M.2 drive PCIe slots to integrate M.2 SSds on the motherboard so there is no need for the 3 bay 3.5 inch drive bay to be install. Silverstone did not rivet that in. Sata SSD can be mounted on the bottom of the case. Bottom cage can also be removed by removing the 4 screws. Can still mount card reader or USB 3.0, USB C bay adapters on bottom.
Cons: 180mm fan is finigy. You will have to tune your fan curve to 70% start and tune from there. Fan won't run till 500 RPM. I say to tune fan start at 70% because It will cause fan errors in BIOS at startup if you don't and thats annoying. This is also why I say that I wish more venders had fans available at 180mm for more options.
Overall Review: Points off for front fan. Fan is revvy when controlled by main board on low setting. The RPM range on the fan is not right on low setting. Fan should be PWM, and fan range should be 400 to 1200 RPM. Only fan I can fans I can find are from Silverstone or cheap knof brands. Will try a 200mm Noctua. Expensive case, Expensive fans. Otherwise pefect case. Lots of room. Can fit a RTX 3070 Strix. Upto 328 mm GPU will fit, RTX Strix is 320mm and 3 slots wide to give idea. have MSI Ventus RTX3060 in it now. Dwarfs card, arounds 100 mm to spair with that.
Bought to use with XBox 1 controller with USB C
Pros: 10 feet long Good Quality Inexpensive Suited for my application
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Cable is stiff but light. Could be the braid.
It's a awesome entry level CPU
Price was right for office pc build to replace old system. Worked well. Box was in good condition. Packed well.
Wrong brand, right GPU
I received a EVGA GTX 750TI SC instead of a Asus GTX 750 Ti. It turns out that the seller actually sent a card with a slightly higher clock speed. I think that they did the right thing with the card. I jumped the gun and wrote a claim to Newegg. Seller could not contact me because my house phone was disconnected and I forgot to change information with Newegg. In the end, my claim was 75% wrong. I did write a apology to seller after they explained that they tried to contact via phone and email. I don't always check Email ether.
I like my M325 Mouse!
Package arrived on time. The Mouse I ordered was the correct one. Feels like a premium product as all Logitech mice do. Works well.
