Works Well

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - Ryzen 5 5000 Series Vermeer (Zen 3) 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM4 65W Desktop Processor - 100-100000927BOX

Pros: It is noticeably quicker than the Ryzen 7 2700 that it replaced.

Cons: At this time, nothing negative.

Overall Review: The first 5600 CPU sent to me did not work out of the box. NewEgg replaced it without any hesitation; their service is appreciated. Some advice; this CPU is a new model and up-to-date drivers and bios firmware may be necessary to get it to work properly. See attachment for specs on CPU, RAM, & Motherboard.

Works Fine

MSI MAG X570 TOMAHAWK WIFI AM4 AMD X570 SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Replaces a MSI B450 Tomahawk MBO. Purchased this board with the intention of eventually upgrading CPU and GPU when the supply and prices are better. This board is presently paired with a Ryzen7 2700 and MSI RTX 580. MBO works fine out of the box; no issues. Plenty of features with this board. Wireless and Bluetooth work fine.

Cons: No issues.

Overall Review: I am satisfied.

Pros: No difficulty to install. The ram tuned within the bios to the advertised 3000 Mhz.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Ram matched to a Ryzen 3 2200G processor and a Tomahawk B450 Max motherboard.
