StarTech.com HDMIMM10FL 10 ft. Black Flat High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet Male to Male

The StarTech.com HDMIMM10FL is a 10-foot flat, male-to-male HDMI cable with Ethernet, suitable for connecting HDMI-enabled devices when you need a longer, low-profile cable run.

Recommended For

• Home-entertainment users connecting a TV or projector to an HDMI source for 4K playback at up to 30 Hz, or for 1080p video.
• People routing a 10 ft HDMI connection under a carpet, along a baseboard, or through a home installation where the flat cable shape helps reduce bulk.
• Presenters or office users connecting an HDMI-equipped laptop or computer to a nearby display or projector for presentations at supported resolutions.
• Users replacing separate audio and video leads with one 10 ft HDMI connection between compatible equipment, such as a player, AV receiver, and display.
• Setups where both connected devices support HDMI Ethernet Channel and the user specifically wants to use that feature over the HDMI cable.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When a TV and media device are separated by a cabinet or need a less noticeable cable route, the flat cable can run along a baseboard; its 10-foot length suits nearby room setups.
• To connect a laptop with an HDMI port to a TV for a presentation, plug in the cable and select the TV’s HDMI input; the TV can show the laptop display, with audio carried over the same connection.
• For a home TV setup, use it to connect an HDMI-equipped cable box, disc player, or game console to the TV; selecting the matching input lets the connected device provide its picture and sound.
• For compatible source and display devices, it can carry Ultra HD video up to 4K at 30 Hz; it is not the right choice when a setup requires 4K at 60 Hz or higher refresh rates.
