Startech 20ft High Speed HDMI® Cable HDMM20 - Ultra HD 4k x 2k HDMI Cable - HDMI to HDMI M/M- 20ft HDMI 1.4 Cable - Audio/Video Gold-Plated

The StarTech.com HDMM20 is a 20 ft HDMI 1.4 male-to-male cable for connecting HDMI-equipped devices such as a TV, projector, receiver, or gaming console when they are positioned farther apart. It suits home entertainment and presentation setups that need a long HDMI connection, including supported 4K and 1080p video use.

Recommended For

• Home-theater users connecting a Blu-ray player, set-top box, or other HDMI source to a TV or AV receiver across a room, when 1080p or 4K at up to 30Hz meets their needs.
• Presenters who need a 20-foot HDMI run from a laptop or workstation to a compatible projector or display for slides and standard-resolution video.
• Users extending a 1080p display connection to a TV or monitor who want a single male-to-male cable and do not need newer high-bandwidth video features.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Connect a laptop or desktop to a TV across the room for streaming, browsing, or showing photos; the longer run can avoid moving the computer beside the screen, with picture and sound carried over one cable.
• Run HDMI from an AV receiver or source device to a projector mounted away from the equipment; this helps keep the source components together while the projector stays near the screen.
• Connect a laptop to a meeting-room projector or display from a table farther away; users can present slides or video without placing the computer beside the screen.
• Connect a Blu-ray player or set-top box to an HDTV when the devices are separated by furniture or room layout; the cable carries the video and audio through a single HDMI connection.
• Connect a gaming console to a TV when the console is positioned away from the screen; it suits video modes supported by both devices, but is not intended for newer high-bandwidth HDMI features.
