Startech 7m High Speed HDMI® Cable DMM7M- Ultra HD 4k x 2k HDMI Cable - HDMI to HDMI M/M- 7m HDMI 1.4 Cable - Audio/Video Gold-Plated

The StarTech.com HDMM7M is a 7-meter (22.97-foot) HDMI 1.4 male-to-male cable for connecting compatible TVs, projectors, receivers, and other HDMI-equipped devices, making it suitable when your setup needs a longer cable run for audio and video.

Recommended For

• Home-theater users connecting a Blu-ray player, set-top box, AV receiver, or similar HDMI source to a TV across a room, when 1080p or 4K at up to 30 Hz meets their needs.
• Presenters connecting an HDMI-equipped laptop or media player to a projector or display when a 7 m reach is useful and 4K at up to 30 Hz is sufficient.
• Users with older or basic HDMI equipment who need a long, direct cable for 1080p video and multichannel audio between a source device and a display.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• Connect a Blu-ray player to an HDTV when the devices are several meters apart; the cable carries the picture and audio over one connection, with supported setups handling Full HD or up to 4K at 30 Hz.
• Run a connection from an A/V receiver or source equipment to a projector across a home theater; the 7 m length can help span the room without placing the source beside the display.
• Connect a set-top box or DVR to a TV or A/V receiver when the equipment is housed away from the screen; compatible devices can send video and audio through a single cable.
• Connect a compatible game console to a TV or projector for gameplay where a longer cable run is needed; this HDMI 1.4 cable is suited to supported modes such as 1080p, but it is not a choice for 4K at 60 Hz or 120 Hz gaming.
• Place a compatible 4K source away from a 4K display in a living-room setup; the cable supports 4K up to 30 Hz, so confirm that this refresh rate meets the source and display’s intended use.
