The StarTech HDMMV4M is a 13-foot Premium Certified HDMI 2.0 cable for connecting TVs, monitors, and other HDMI devices, making it suitable for setups that need extra reach and support for 4K at 60Hz.
Recommended For
- Home-theater users connecting a 4K TV to a streaming device, Blu-ray player, or receiver over a 13 ft run who need up to 4K at 60 Hz and HDR10.
- Desktop users placing a UHD monitor several feet from a computer and needing a 4 m HDMI connection for resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz.
- TV owners routing audio back to a compatible soundbar or AV receiver through HDMI ARC, without needing eARC.
- Installers or home users who want a certified 4 m HDMI cable for a fixed setup, with a flexible TPE jacket and strain reliefs.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Connect a streaming device, Blu-ray player, or console to a 4K TV across a media stand or room; with compatible equipment, the cable supports up to 4K at 60 Hz, so video and audio travel over one connection.
- Run a console to a 4K TV for everyday gaming; on compatible HDMI 2.0 equipment, it can carry 4K gameplay up to 60 Hz, but it is not the cable to choose for 4K at 120 Hz.
- Connect a desktop PC to a living-room TV for couch gaming or watching video; the 13-foot length can help bridge a room-scale setup, with the PC and display determining the available resolution and refresh rate.
- Connect an HDMI-equipped laptop or desktop to a UHD monitor for work or presentations when the display is several feet away; the cable carries the picture and compatible audio without requiring a nearby display connection.
- Link a compatible TV and AV receiver in a home-theater setup; using ARC-capable HDMI ports can return TV audio to the receiver over the same cable, reducing the need for a separate audio connection.
