Recommended For

• Cloud-first business users who work in ChromeOS, Google Workspace, and browser-based tools and want a business-positioned laptop with Wi-Fi 7 and enterprise features.
• People who regularly keep many browser tabs and web apps open; professional testing of a related Chromebook Plus 714 configuration found ChromeOS browsing and multitasking responsive, while this listing has 32 GB of RAM.
• Hybrid workers and frequent commuters who want a 14-inch touchscreen laptop that is about 2.73 pounds and can connect over Wi-Fi 7 or wired Gigabit Ethernet.
• Users who spend much of the workday in video meetings and want an enterprise-positioned Chromebook family with a QHD webcam, microphone array, and ChromeOS meeting features; confirm that the exact configuration includes the camera features you need.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For a cloud-first workday, keep email, Google Docs or Sheets, and multiple browser tabs open while moving between tasks; reviews of the related Chromebook Plus 714 family found everyday browsing and multitasking responsive.
• For remote or hybrid meetings, join video calls while keeping notes or shared documents open; Acer positions the Enterprise 714 for conferencing, with a QHD webcam and a multi-microphone array.
• For commuting or working between locations, edit documents that have been synced for offline access and resume cloud collaboration when connected; this suits users whose regular work is centered on ChromeOS and Google Workspace.
• For presenting in a meeting room or classroom, connect to an external display over HDMI and show slides or browser-based material; the built-in HDMI port avoids relying on a separate adapter for a basic display connection.
• For drafting and polishing everyday work, use ChromeOS writing tools to help prepare or revise text, then finish it in a browser-based document; the experience is best suited to web-first workflows rather than software that requires a traditional desktop operating system.
