Barrow G1/4" 10K Temperature Sensor Stop Fitting, Black (TCWD-V1)

The Barrow TCWD-V1 is a G1/4" stop plug with a built-in 10K temperature sensor. It closes a free port of your loop and measures the coolant temperature at the same time. This is the standard version, with a short sensor tip that reaches 3 mm past the thread. The plug is machined from H59 brass and finished in black.

Coolant temperature at a glance

The sensor sits in the tip of the plug, in the coolant itself, so it reads the water temperature rather than the air in the case. Barrow makes it for measuring the temperature of the coolant in a water cooling system. Connect the cable to a fan controller, a motherboard temperature header or another monitor that takes a 10K sensor, and you can run fans or pumps on the coolant temperature.

Fits any free G1/4" port

The plug screws into any free G1/4" female port of a block, radiator, reservoir or fitting, like an ordinary stop plug. An O-ring under the head seals it, and the knurled head is tightened by hand.

Brass with a double-protected finish

Barrow machines the body from H59 brass and protects the surface with what it calls a double electroplating process, which it says gives a fine texture that is solid and durable.

Non-slip diamond knurling

The outside carries a diamond knurl pattern. Barrow says it gives a sure grip when you screw the part in by hand.

Standard or lengthened

Barrow makes this plug in two lengths. The standard TCWD-V1 reaches 8 mm below the head. The lengthened TCWDL-V1 reaches 15 mm below the head, so the sensor tip sits deeper in the coolant flow.
