Farming Simulator 17 Platinum Edition is a PC farming simulation for players who enjoy building and managing a virtual farm, with three environments, including a new South American setting, plus sugarcane, livestock, and more than 275 vehicles and tools.
Recommended For
- Players looking for a calm, methodical game to unwind with: much of the play involves repeating fieldwork tasks at an unhurried pace, which reviewers describe as relaxing.
- Fans of farm machinery and hands-on fieldwork who want to switch between tractors, tools, crops, livestock, and forestry as they build up a working farm.
- Self-directed players who enjoy setting their own goals, gradually expanding a farm, and choosing how to spend time across crops, animals, equipment, and land; the game has no strong story driving that progression.
- Friends who want to manage a farm together online or over LAN, sharing farm work and coordinating their progress.
- PC players who like extending a simulation with community-made maps, vehicles, and gameplay tweaks; the game supports downloadable mods.
