Will this work with older 16gb Intel Optane Memory as an NVME / SSD drive?  Not using Intel RST, just want an extra drive on an older Intel 6 series motherboard

Intel Optane SSD memory was released in several electrically different memory designs on different form factors. This ORICO TCM2-C3 enclosure should be compatible with your Optane memory board if: (a) your card has an M.2 interface, (b) is designed to run over a PCie bus and (c) has a NVMe form factor. If you don't know the specs for your Optane card, just search for "M.2 PCie NVMe".  If the cards you find look like your Intel Optane memory module your memory will be compatible with this ORICO enclosure. note: Some of the NMMe memory cards have 2 key slots on the interface and some will only have one.  This ORICO enclosure is compatible with both pin configurations, provided that your memory card is designed to work over a PCie bus (i.e. not SATA).

This ORICO device essentially converts a PCie compatible bus interface to a high speed USB interface.  So, turns any compatible internal memory module into a high speed data storage peripheral, with more capacity potential and much higher speed than you could find in an integrated usb flash drive (up to 10 Gbps)

Question 5

Will this work with older 16 gb Intel Optane Memory (B+M key)?  I am not using Intel RST, just an extra SSD / NVME drive.

If your SSD memory module has both B+M keys it implies that your SSD is PCie bus compatible and should therefore work with the ORICO enclosure that supports PCie. You can purchase the one that supports PCie or both PCie + SATA.  Just do not purchase the SATA only option.
