Ideal for home/corporate security systems, home theaters, trade shows and other digital signage applications, the B110-SP-10G protects connected network equipment from damage caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), power surges and cable discharge events. Just connect it between your network source and device using Cat5/5e/6/6a/8 cables and ground it with the included wire. Solid-state silicon-avalanche diode technology features low clamping voltage, providing superior protection against ESD and super-fast response time under one nanosecond. Gas discharge modules on all four twisted pairs protect each wire from surges or spikes by dissipating the voltage transient through a contained plasma gas.
