The Tripp Lite 2-Port HDMI Splitter sends an HDMI signal to two HDMI outputs and supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160, making it suitable for users who want to share a 4K source across two displays.
Recommended For
- Classroom or meeting-room presenters who need to show one laptop or Blu-ray source on a projector and a second HDMI display at the same time.
- Small digital-signage operators who want the same video feed on two nearby screens, such as displays in a restaurant, hotel, retail space, or trade-show booth.
- Home-theater users who want to send the same HDMI source to two TVs or monitors simultaneously, rather than choose between separate displays.
- Users installing the splitter in a country supported by its included international plug adapters who need a powered, plug-and-play HDMI distribution setup.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Connect one HDMI player or source to a TV and a projector so both show the same program; the splitter mirrors the picture rather than creating separate content for each screen.
- In a meeting room, send a laptop presentation to two HDMI displays or projectors at once; both screens show the same presentation for viewers in different parts of the room.
- In a home theater, feed one Blu-ray player or other HDMI source to two displays; the same video and audio signal is sent to both, rather than letting each display play different content.
- For a simple duplicated computer display, send one HDMI output to two monitors when each needs to show the same image; this splitter does not extend the desktop with separate content on each screen.
