Q: I can't find the drive under my computer,why?

A: Please make sure your new hard drive has been partitioned

 

Q: Is ATA drives can be used (not sata or ide)?

A: ATA is exactly IDE drive. So SATA/IDE to USB 3.0 Adapter would still work. make sure that your ATA drives are 2.5''(44pins) or 3.5''(40pins)

 

Q: Does this usb 3.0 to sata ide converter work with windows 8/10?

A: Yes, it compatibiliy with Windows 7 -Windows 10/Mac/Linux systems

 

Q: Does ide drive need to plug in power cable?

A: 3.5" IDE drive need to connect the 4Pin IDE power cable(included), 2.5" IDE drive is not required the power cable.

 

Q: What is the maximum capacity of hard drives supported?

A: Generally it supports the current hard drive in the market, the capacity should be 8-10TB
