Will I be able to save my labels in a file for future uses?

To answer your question, go to the help menu, look up file and this iw what you will find:

Library/Export to file... command

The Label Menu/Library/Export to file command opens the Export File Wizard so you can export saved labels to a file that can be used with other programs. Follow the directions on the screen to select the export file type, file name and path, the labels that you want to export, and the address fields (from Contact Information).

1. Does it print on 31/2" x 1 1/8"labels?

2. does it have software that keeps labels in memory?

3. Can I use my current Smart Label printer 240 SII address list?

Do the labels come in rolls of a certain number?

1. yes, there are several sizes that you order by the roll.
2. yes, it will save all labels in the software. you can pull them up later for printing.
3. yes, you can just install the new software and it will upgrade what is there. You could also back up your old library then restore it.
4. the rolls we use hold 130 labels. (1 1/8" by 3.5")

Will this printer work with both mac's and pc's?

While I use it with windows, the manufacturer specs say that it will work with both.

Will this printer do a standard UPS,USPS shipping label?

Yes, but I really would not recommend this printer. The print quality is NOT GOOD whatsoever, so bad that I frequently had packages sent back because the barcode was un-scannable or the address was unreadable. I ended up having to write over the address of EVERY label to ensure it was legible. You will have many issues with tracking. And the labels that go to this printer are scratched/marked VERY easily. I got rid of this printer a week after I got it, Id HIGHLY recommend the DYMO 4xl Labelwriter; its a bit more expensive but will last forever and get the job done perfectly.

Is this printer a drop in replacement for the SLP 410?

I purchased the 620 to replace the 410's. The 410's are not compatible with Windows 7 operating system. Initially I had purchased 450's when they were available. I purchased the 620 becasue that's what was available to me. They work great and the users are happy with it.

Question 6

Once the required drivers are installed, is it possible to print to the printer through the Windows system dialog, or is it only possible to print to the printer through its own proprietary software?

You can send a Test Page from the Windows System. Each Printer comes with the drivers and installation of the Proprietary Software. It allows you to keep a library of the labels created per user and the library can be moved from one machine to another. We used them for Files Labels Only.

Will the SLP620 work with Windows 10?

Ask Seiko, you probably get an upgrade
from Seiko. It might even upgrade automatically when you switch to Windows 10.
