| Features | The ability to protect ones original DVD video content from others making unauthorized copies could mean the difference between a profitable project and what in many ways would be an unintended free offering. Using Vinpower Digital's Copy Protection feature on select Vinpower duplicator lines, provides a superior level of protection against successfully copied DVD videos. Taking this scenario one step further, say the owner has a Vinpower or similar line with the Vinpower copy protection feature available, but they run out of licenses, what can they do? That's why Vinpower offers a series of copy protection dongles with multiple size replacement licenses to allow the user continued ability to embed the copy protection on their proprietary DVD video content. |

The Vinpower COPYLOCK100 is a USB 2.0 dongle containing 100 licenses for Vinpower CopyLock software, suited to DVD producers using a compatible Vinpower duplicator who need additional licenses to embed copy protection in their video content.
Recommended For
- DVD producers distributing their own video content who want to add Vinpower Copy Protection before making authorized copies on a supported Vinpower duplicator.
- Organizations that already use Vinpower CopyLock and have used their existing licenses; this dongle supplies 100 additional licenses for continued DVD-video production.
- Training providers, schools, and businesses that distribute their own instructional DVDs and want the protection embedded in the disc-copying workflow.
- DVD duplication operators who can prepare a protected image with CopyLock software on a PC, then transfer it to a CopyLock-supported duplicator for production.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- An independent video producer is preparing DVDs of a film or educational program for sale; the dongle supplies licenses for creating VCP-protected copies through compatible CopyLock software and a supported duplicator.
- A small publisher has used up its existing CopyLock licenses but still needs to fulfill DVD orders; this replacement dongle provides another 100 licenses for continuing its protected-disc workflow.
- A training company distributes its own video lessons on DVD and wants to make authorized copies harder to duplicate or rip; it can create a VCP image with CopyLock, then transfer it to a compatible duplicator for disc production.
- A producer needs to make protected DVDs using recordable media beyond Vinpower’s specified OptoDisc-MID option; the VCP license route supports using other media, subject to the duplicator and disc-format requirements.
- A small organization produces DVD batches for a limited release rather than commissioning a large replication run; the dongle enables licensed VCP authoring for compatible duplicator workflows, with 100 licenses available before more are needed.
