Pros: it makes power 10/10
Overall Review: 10/10
Pros: Good price and does what I need it to do!
Perfect for budget build.
Overall Review: It’s non modular but for the price you can’t beat it. I was able to still hide most of not all of the cables on the back side of the case.
Overall Review: I'd definitely recommend this product.
Pros: I have a Phanteks Enthoo Pro Series PH-ES614P case with a shield that encloses the complete power supply and extra cables. With that said, I wasn't worried about nor interested in paying the extra money for a modular PS as any unused cables would be out of sight. This Corsair CV series PS has everything I needed including 6 sata, an eight conductor power and 2 PCI-E connectors. The power supply fan is super quiet and barely noticeable. The price was very reasonable after rebate. Hopefully it will last many years.
Overall Review: Overall, I am very happy with this power supply. While working from home, my 10 year old OCZ power supply made a loud snapping noise and my PC died. Newegg somehow shipped the new power supply to my door within 24 hours. Incredible service.
Cons: Loud high pitched coil whine coming from the PSU. RMA with same exact problem. Will not buy a corsair PSU again.
Overall Review: 0 / 5 stars.
Pros: Low cost
Easy to install and should have all the cabling needed
Cons: The box says there is 1x 6+2pin for pcie... the description on newegg was very unclear, b4 recieving I assumed since it was 650w it would have what was needed for a modern gpu.. I almost returned this after reading box.
Then I ordered a splitter cable after much research if it would handle it... got cables.. opened box.. THE CABLE FOR THE 6+2 HAS 2 SETS OF 6+2. And handles my gpus fine.
Non modular (but that's expected and why its cheap)
Overall Review: Good power, bought 2 one is running an fx 8 core woth a RTX 2070 and the other is on a 6700k intel i7 with a 1080ti. Both system I build for my teenage kids and they are running smooth and quiet.
Note that the box is mislabeled and it has 2x 6+2 for a single gpu.
Pros: It works
Cons: As the other review said it whines and on top of that it sounds like something is scraping making a very high pitch scratching sound as the fan speeds up, it is obscenely loud and very distracting in an otherwise quiet system.
Overall Review: Look elsewhere.
Overall Review: Came in a reasonable amount of time. Out of the box, there was a noticeable, strong chemical smell (rubber or plastic?). I used this power supply for my first PC build, and with a Cooler Master NR600, there was plenty of space at the bottom chamber to hide away any additional, unused cables. The power supply works well!
