Just popped - 2 1/2 months old10/21/2020 6:02:37 PM

Pros: Worked good for 2.5 months Didn't blow up the rest of my brand new computer when it popped 10 year warranty

Cons: Popped after 2.5 months Very hard thump through audio speakers powering on/off APPARENTLY YOU WILL NEED THE WARRANTY

Overall Review: Installed in my new media PC in 8/2020, which is a low power requirement PC, and has been working good for 2.5 months. A few minutes ago I heard a pop, and my PC powered off. Having some experience I deemed it was the PSU, and took a installing another PSU. Fortunately it did not take out any of my computer components that I can tell at this point. So that is something good I can say for it. Computer is ASRock B550, AMD 3600, Asus GT 1030 (35 watt),. G Skill Ripjaw, Silicon Power NVMe & 1 SSD, Hauppage WinTV 1265, CoolMaster HAF EVO, all purchased new at the same time as the power supply. I will never buy a Thermaltake again. I'vea had Antecs, EVGAs, NZXTs and they've lasted for years and years (10+ years). I will warranty this PSU, but I'm a little leary of even using it should next it pops it takes out other components. Extremely dissappointed.

Manufacturer Response:
Greetings, Sorry you had a bad experience with one of our power supplies. We work hard to bring the best tech we can. You already said you would use the warranty which we will happily exchange the defective unit. Please rest assured that the PSU has many measures in place to protect components, in fact, the pop you heard was probably one of those measures. Please let us know if there are any questions we can answer, we are happy to help.
Awesome performance4/11/2020 12:04:51 AM

Overall Review: Another quality MSI product. Installed easily into an Enermax case and MSI X570 motherboard. Fans are pretty quiet but can be heard. Cannot tell any difference between using HDMI or Displayport, performance seems the same and G-Sync works through either. Easily runs Doom Eternal at Ultra (highest) settings 2560x1440 at 165FPS/Hz. Generally maintains that framerate unless making a quick turn and the framerates drop a little which I think any card would. Gameplay is extremely enjoyable.

Everything it claims to be4/6/2020 8:46:15 PM

Pros: Easy to use menu Easy to use power/volume/menu hat switch Awesome for gaming Fine for productivity Price fair for everything you get G-Sync works through both inputs Works at 165Hz Adjustable stand

Overall Review: I have owned many LG products through the years and have always had good experiences. This might reach new heights. Although not advertised as so, this part of LG's "Ultragear" line. And it is Ultragear! It is a gaming monitor, which means it's not designed for productivity. USB ports aren't easy to access, that I can tell only through the back I/O panel. Theres 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport input. But those are very minor issues and can be solved with a cable or KVM switch. With it's IPS screen, the screen is just fine for productivity. It's clear, easy on the eyes for all day work. I've been using this for a few days now and so far no stuck or dead pixels that I'm aware of. Awesome monitor.

Only converts Displayport to HDMI, not HDMI to Displayport4/6/2020 7:57:37 PM

Overall Review: It's a good product and states in the product listing that this can only convert Displayport to HDMI. In my haste for a quick solution, I didn't read the specifications thouroughly and just assumed it could work both ways. I won't knock the product for my mistake, but maybe this review will help keep someone else from making the same mistake.

64-bit goodness3/29/2020 3:14:11 AM

Pros: Includes a physical disk Enables > 4gb usable system memory

Cons: Key font is tiny and difficult to read (especially with scratch off area) Does not optimize for solid state drives automatically

Overall Review: Boots in 5 seconds with an AMD Ryzen and NVMe drive. Users with solid state drives may research best practices to optimizing WIndows settings for best wear and performance with SSDs. Windows defaults are primarily optimized for HDDs.

Made the difference3/28/2020 8:12:40 AM

Overall Review: This cable works using a RTX 2080 Super and LG 32GK650G-B 32" QHD monitor. I have an older DisplayPort cable and the signal was not geting to the monitor.

another mobo not DOA!3/28/2020 5:37:26 AM

Pros: Enthusiast layout Strong performer

Overall Review: This is my 2nd MSI mobo. Just finished the build. LIke the 1st board, I'm satisfied with this product. I would say this one is even a step up in terms of designed for the enthusiast. The layout is great, and I had no issue installing a LIQMAX III radiator and pump. It dropped right into the Enermax case I bought, didn't even have to add or remove riser locations. It comes with a paper manual, driver disk with some utilities, 2 SATA cables, a couple RGB cables. Note: nearing completing the build the CPU DEBUG LED came on and the computer stopped booting. Clearing CMOS solved this issue. Newbs...please stop killing your "DOA" motherboards.

What can I say that hasn't been said 720 times?3/28/2020 5:13:16 AM

Overall Review: It's a Ryzen 8 core at 3.9Ghz. Using in an MSI X570 Gaming Plus, worked from first installation. Just be very careful with the pins. When I was installing the CPU I bumped a corner of the CPU on the lever (which was just blending in with the modern dark grey motherboards). If i had hit the pins, it may have bent some.

Awesome3/28/2020 5:08:43 AM

Pros: Great assortment of cables Monster level of power Tester is nice just to use prior to connecting to components in case there is some issue

Overall Review: Just finished a build with this PSU. It worked with no issues and seems like a high quality product. The assortment of included cables is really nice. Without going for completely custom cables, you can use was you need and ignore the rest. So far seems like a high quality product.

Works fine3/28/2020 4:53:20 AM

Overall Review: I bought these based on my prior experience with SP products. "Taking a chance" a few years ago I purchased two SP 240gb SSDs. Both are still running great and are still competively fast, with transfer rates in the 500mb range. This purchase was for 2 and both are working properly and recognized correctly. I just finished the build. Windows 10 x64 boots in a few seconds.

Love CyberPower3/28/2020 4:40:43 AM

Pros: Better build quality compared to competition For me they last "forever" Use a standard battery form factor which quality replacements are inexpensive and readily available Configurable such as disabling beeps is nice

Overall Review: This is my 3rd CyberPower UPS. I bought a 1500AVRLCD in 2013 and it's still running strong with the original batteries. I have an even older 525SL that's probably 15-20 years old, still works like a champ (have replaced battery a couple times). When I unboxed this, there was a rattle. I investigated it before plugging. Fortunately it was just one of the front plate mounting tabs. Even with the broken tab, the front plate mounted does not move (at all). I'm not concerned with this at all and look forward to years of service out of this unit. As a note, If your UPS starts acting weird, almost like it gains a personality, often times it's just the battery(s) has gone bad. Don't necessarily think it's the UPS has failed most likely the battery(s) need replaced..

Great case - one caution3/27/2020 11:04:39 PM

Pros: Case - Designed to be flexible - Case should provide tons of airflow - Removable filters on top and bottom - Case metal is all steel, but is not heavy - Solid structure Cooler - Seems like a quality unit that is rates well consistently

Cons: Caution - case has no external drive bays for optical drives

Overall Review: Just finished a new build with this case using an MSI Gamer ATX mobo. All parts lined up, fit and finish are great. Easy wire management. I thought the case would be larger than it is, it is a slightly larger than my midsize case but not the size of typically what I think of as a full tower. The lighting is pretty cool too and there's a button for changing through around 10 patterns.

Working fine4/27/2013 11:12:16 AM

Pros: Easy to install (don't even have to connect batteries), informative LCD, user-friendly software, plenty of backup run time, looks cool (LCD & CyberPower logo on side), easy to service. Tested with a NZXT HALE82 850 watt PSU, computer continued to work after unplugging UPS. Newegg packaged it in a shipping box, and it arrived sans damage, ordered on a Monday and arrived the next Thursday with 3 day shipping. CyberPower and Newegg make a great combination.

Cons: None really

Overall Review: This is my 2nd CyberPower UPS and I would recommend their products to anyone. Youtube my nickname & product name for a video review.

Working fine4/27/2013 11:04:54 AM

Pros: Semi-modular: mainboard power, EPS, and 2 PCIe are not modular. Cable lengths very long. There are no floppy disk power connectors, which I consider a pro at this point. So far PSU is quieter than the 12cm case fan I have. Sometimes it's better to go with an established product compared to cutting edge products. In this case, this PSU has a proven record for being quality and is very efficient.

Cons: Modularization could be a little more effective, can't really complain at this price point.

Overall Review: If you have a floppy drive, you'll need a plug adapter. Youtube my nickname and PSU name for a video review.
