ASUS ZenWiFi Whole-Home Tri-band Mesh WiFi 6E System AXE7800, Coverage up to 7,800 sq.ft, 7800Mbps, new 6GHz band, AiMesh, Lifetime Free Internet Security, Parental Control, Easy Setup

The ASUS ZenWiFi ET9 is a three-pack, tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh system rated for coverage up to 7,800 sq. ft., suited to larger homes that need broader wireless coverage and access to the 6 GHz band.

Recommended For

• Households with multiple floors or distant rooms that need mesh coverage for several people streaming 4K video, joining video calls, or downloading large files around the home.
• Homes with compatible Wi-Fi 6E devices in crowded wireless environments, where the less-congested 6GHz band may help with faster connections at shorter distances.
• Users who want to tune a home network with features such as traffic controls, VPN options, device security tools, and parental controls rather than relying only on basic router settings.
• Families that need Wi-Fi for everyday video calls, browsing, and casual gaming in different rooms, and can connect competitive-gaming devices directly to the main router when latency matters.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• In a larger or multi-level home, place the ET9 nodes in separate areas to extend Wi-Fi beyond the main router; the mesh can improve access in rooms where a single router struggles, though actual coverage depends on the home layout and building materials.
• When several household members stream 4K video or download large files at once, the ET9’s tri-band mesh is suited to keeping high-bandwidth activities going across the home; results still depend on internet service and node placement.
• In a neighborhood or apartment with crowded Wi-Fi, a compatible Wi-Fi 6E device can use the 6 GHz band for faster connections at shorter distances, where the band is available and signal conditions allow.
• For everyday video calls and web use around the house, the ET9’s wireless latency is generally suitable; calls or other real-time tasks routed through a satellite node may be less consistent than a direct connection to the main unit.
• For online gaming, the mesh can support casual play and game downloads around the home, but competitive players should use Ethernet to the main unit when possible because wireless latency can spike through a satellite node.
