Canon 137 Black Toner Cartridge

Canon Cartridge 137 (9435B001) is a genuine black toner cartridge rated for approximately 2,400 pages at 5% coverage, suited to users of compatible Canon imageCLASS and LBP151dw printers who want a replacement cartridge for routine black-and-white printing.

Recommended For

• Owners of a compatible Canon imageCLASS or LBP151dw printer replacing an empty black cartridge; Cartridge 137 is the specified genuine replacement for these printer families.
• Home-office and small-office users who regularly print black-and-white documents, such as forms, correspondence, and schoolwork, on a compatible printer; Canon rates the cartridge for up to 2,400 pages under the ISO/IEC standard.
• Users who prefer a genuine Canon cartridge for routine document printing and want the printer’s toner and imaging components replaced together as one cartridge.
• People replenishing a compatible monochrome laser printer used for small-office tasks such as printing, copying, and scanning; the cartridge supplies black toner for those document workflows.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For routine home-office paperwork—such as letters, invoices, forms, and text-heavy reports—the Cartridge 137 supplies black toner for compatible imageCLASS printers, producing the monochrome output these everyday documents need.
• In a small office that prints documents regularly, replacing an empty cartridge restores printing without replacing the whole printer; Canon lists a yield of up to 2,400 pages under its stated standard, though actual page count varies with printing.
• When printing multi-page office documents, users of compatible models with automatic duplex printing can make two-sided copies, helping reduce paper use while the cartridge handles the black text and graphics.
• For a document sent from a phone or tablet, users with a compatible wireless imageCLASS model can print through a supported mobile-printing option; the cartridge provides the black toner for the resulting pages.
• When print quality fades or the cartridge runs out, replacing the Cartridge 137 also replaces the toner-and-drum unit in compatible printers, combining those routine consumable changes in one replacement.
