The genuine Ricoh 842251 is a black toner cartridge for Ricoh IM C3000 and IM C3500 printers, with an approximate yield of 31,000 pages at 5% coverage; it suits offices that need a high-yield cartridge for regular black printing.
Recommended For
- Offices that regularly print black-and-white documents on a Ricoh IM C3000 or IM C3500 and want a genuine Ricoh black cartridge; the stated yield is 31,000 pages at 5% coverage.
- Workgroup or office-equipment admins replenishing the black toner in a shared IM C3000/IM C3500 multifunction printer as part of routine supply management.
- Teams that use a compatible Ricoh MFP for frequent black text, forms, or office records and prefer a high-yield cartridge to reduce how often black toner needs replacing.
- Ricoh IM C3000/IM C3500 owners who need to replace the black cartridge specifically, rather than buy a different supply for their device.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- In a shared office using an IM C3000 or IM C3500 for black-and-white reports, letters, and meeting handouts, this cartridge supplies black toner for routine document printing; Ricoh rates its yield at about 31,000 pages under 5% coverage conditions.
- For departments that print frequent invoices, forms, or other text-heavy business paperwork, the high-yield black cartridge can support ongoing use with fewer toner changes than a low-yield cartridge; actual page count depends on how much of each page is covered with toner.
- When these color multifunction printers handle a mix of color jobs and black-only documents, this cartridge replenishes the black toner used for monochrome printing, copying, and text elements in documents; it is compatible with both the IM C3000 and IM C3500.
- For pages with dense black graphics, large filled areas, or heavy text coverage, users should expect the cartridge to run through toner faster than the stated yield suggests, because Ricoh’s approximate 31,000-page rating is based on 5% page coverage.
