Rack Mounting Hardware Facilitate Safe and Secure Server Installation

Secure your server workstation installation using the right mounting hardware. Your choice of mounting hardware will depend on the mounting rails of your rack enclosure or relay rack. Cage nut tools are suitable for installing server cage nuts in server enclosures, while cluster kits are suitable for joining cabinets in adjacent positions. Tool-less server cage nuts are easy and convenient to use as they do not require separate tools or screws for installation.

Server Barebones and Workstations Are Highly Customizable

Barebone server systems offer stripped-down server kits that come without hard drives, CPUs or memory modules. They allow for maximum customization with different software. Pedestal and rackmount models are the most popular server barebones. Rackmount rail kits enable you to convert tower servers to a rackmount server system, while a sliding rail kit allows you to fully draw the servers out of the rack for convenient access. Cut down the clutter using customized cables, D-ring hooks, conduits and panels. Customized cables help increase airflow and reduce cluttering within rack enclosures. Using cables with the proper length helps minimize cable clutter in the cabinet for sufficient airflow, which in turn extends the shelf life of the equipment. Choose color-coded cables for easy service identification by administrators. D-ring hooks come in a variety of sizes, and they hold the cabling in place to avoid knotting and crimping. Cable management conduits feature a removable top cover so you can easily add or remove cables before routing them through covered cable ducts. A cable management panel offers an all-in-one cabling solution, as it holds hooks, pipes and conduits of different sizes. Blanking panels help optimize airflow in the enclosure by filling the openings in unused server racks. Some filler panels have hinges with solid or vented designs to provide physical security to the server components.
