The Redragon K761 is a full-size wireless mechanical gaming keyboard with 104 keys, a custom linear switch, and three connection modes, suited to gamers and everyday users who want a full-size layout with flexible connectivity.
Recommended For
- People who regularly use a number pad for spreadsheets, invoicing, or data entry and want a mechanical keyboard with a full-size layout.
- Players who also use their desk for everyday typing and want one full-size keyboard with wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz connection options; a reviewer reported consistent inputs while gaming over USB and 2.4GHz.
- Typists who prefer linear switches and a more dampened, cushioned mechanical-keyboard sound and feel for longer writing or gaming sessions.
- Keyboard hobbyists who want to swap compatible switches and adjust settings such as lighting, macros, or the display using the keyboard’s software and controls.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For a player who also uses their PC for everyday work, the K761’s full-size layout keeps the number pad and dedicated keys available for spreadsheets, invoices, and general typing; reviewers also found it comfortable for both gaming and typing.
- During PC gaming, the linear switches and 2.4GHz wireless or wired connection let players use the keyboard without keeping a cable connected; reviewers reported responsive gameplay and consistent key input in their testing.
- For long typing sessions at home or in an office, the gasket-mounted, dampened design gives keystrokes a more muted sound than a hollow, echoing mechanical-keyboard sound; it is still audible, not silent.
- When switching between work and play at a desk, users can choose a wired USB-C, 2.4GHz wireless, or Bluetooth connection to suit their setup, rather than being limited to a single connection type.
- While gaming or listening to music at a desk, users can adjust volume with the dedicated knob and glance at the built-in screen for keyboard information or customization; reviewers describe the display mainly as a useful extra rather than a necessity.
