The Tripp Lite P568F-10M-8K6 is a 10 m (32.81 ft.) active optical HDMI cable for connecting 8K displays to compatible sources, supporting up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4:4:4 color, and Dynamic HDR for home theater, gaming, or digital signage setups.
Recommended For
- Home-theater installers routing a 10 m HDMI connection between a compatible source and TV, projector, or receiver, especially through a ceiling or other plenum space.
- PC gamers connecting a compatible gaming PC to a distant display who want support for 8K/60 Hz, 4:4:4 color, HDR, and HDMI gaming features such as VRR and ALLM.
- AV teams connecting a conference-room laptop to a table box or large display over a 10 m run, where a slim, flexible cable and plenum-rated jacket suit the installation.
- Digital-signage or surveillance installers sending HDMI video from a compatible source to one display over a longer run where EMI/RFI resistance is useful.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- A home-theater owner runs HDMI from a receiver or media player across the room to a projector; the fiber cable is intended to carry video and audio over this longer connection, where a standard copper cable may be less suitable.
- A PC gamer connects a computer in one part of a room to a compatible TV or monitor elsewhere; the cable supports a long HDMI run while carrying gaming video features when the source and display also support them.
- A presenter connects a Windows laptop at a conference table to an A/V box feeding a room display; the cable provides a direct HDMI link for showing slides or other presentation content on the large screen.
- An installer routes HDMI through a ceiling, wall, or air-handling space to a display; the plenum-rated jacket is designed for applicable premise installations, and the labeled source and display ends need to face the correct devices.
- A shop or venue sends content from a media player to a distant digital sign or point-of-sale display; the cable is intended to carry the HDMI signal without needing a separate video-over-network setup.
- A security or AV team connects compatible camera or surveillance equipment to a central display; the cable supports a direct HDMI connection between the video source and viewing screen.
