The StarTech.com HKLP25GN is a 25-foot roll of green, reusable hook-and-loop cable ties that can be cut to length and adjusted, making it suitable for IT professionals and anyone organizing cables in a home or office.
Recommended For
- IT and network technicians organizing server-room or rack cables who want to reopen, adjust, or add to bundles during maintenance.
- People wiring a home office or workstation who want to bundle mixed equipment cables and cut ties to fit each route.
- IT staff routing cables alongside rack structures or raceways who need adjustable, reusable wraps rather than single-use ties.
- Technicians who want to use green ties to make selected cable bundles easier to distinguish during installation or servicing.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When dressing a server rack or network cabinet, an IT technician can bundle and route cables with adjustable wraps, then reopen them to add, remove, or trace a cable without cutting off a tie.
- When a desk or workstation setup changes, users can loosen the bundle to swap or add device cables, then fasten it again instead of replacing a cut zip tie.
- When organizing a home-lab or office cable run, users can cut the roll into lengths suited to each bundle, keeping cables grouped without being locked into one tie size.
- When routing network or AV cables along a rack or through a cable pathway, users can secure the bundle while keeping it adjustable for later maintenance or rerouting.
- When maintaining equipment, users can open a bundle to reach an individual cable or device, then reuse the same wrap to tidy the run afterward.
