The Targus Lap Chill Mat provides a comfortable and ergonomic work surface to keep you and your laptop cool. The Chill Mat rests on your lap and disperses heat, using dual fans to provide ventilation which can be obstructed if the laptop is used on a pillow or comforter. Simply plug the USB connector into the laptop to activate cooling. The ergonomic tilt makes typing easy while the soft neoprene material provides cushioned comfort on your lap. The open design allows fans to run quietly and stimulates constant airflow. Four rubber stops on the face of the Chill Mat prevents the laptop from slipping.
The Targus Lap Chill Mat makes using your laptop an enjoyable experience.

The Targus 17-inch Lap Chill Mat (AWE55US) is a dual-fan laptop cooling pad with a soft neoprene surface, suited to laptop users who want to disperse heat and add comfort while using a laptop on their lap or work surface.
Recommended For
- People who work or browse with a laptop on their lap at home and want a cushioned surface that helps shield their legs from laptop heat while adding airflow.
- Owners of larger laptops, including some gaming laptops, who want a lap-friendly cooling surface for everyday use or casual play—not a guaranteed, high-performance temperature-control solution.
- People who use a laptop on their lap or at a home workspace and prefer a simple USB-powered mat with quiet, open-air fan ventilation rather than a complex cooling setup.
- Laptop users who type from a sofa or other informal seating and want an angled, cushioned surface instead of balancing the computer directly on their legs.
