StarTech.com HDMIMM20HS 20 ft. Black Connector A: 1 x HDMI, Male Connector B: 1 x HDMI, Male High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet Male to Male

The StarTech.com HDMIMM20HS is a 20-foot High Speed HDMI cable with male-to-male connectors, Ethernet support, and resolutions up to 4K x 2K, suited to connecting HDMI devices that need a longer cable run.

Recommended For

• Home-theater users routing video up to 20 ft from an older Blu-ray player, receiver, or streaming device to a TV for 1080p viewing or 4K playback at up to 30 Hz.
• People connecting a legacy 4K source to a compatible 4K display for films or other playback where 4K at 24–30 Hz is sufficient, rather than for high-refresh use.
• Classrooms, meeting rooms, or fixed installations that need a 20 ft HDMI connection between a computer or media player and a display for standard presentations and video.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• In a home theater where the AV receiver or media player sits across the room from the TV, use the 20 ft cable to carry video and audio to the display; it supports up to 4K at 30 Hz when the connected devices also support that format.
• For a ceiling-mounted projector with an AV receiver or source equipment farther away, run the cable between the devices to avoid placing the source beside the projector; the image and audio pass over one HDMI connection, subject to device compatibility and the cable’s supported formats.
• When connecting a Blu-ray player, DVR, or set-top box to a TV, use the cable as a single link for picture and sound instead of separate audio and video leads; supported devices can also use its HDMI Ethernet feature.
• In a meeting room or classroom, connect an HDMI-equipped laptop or workstation to a projector or large display from across the room; the 20 ft reach can accommodate a separated presenter and screen, with video output depending on the connected equipment.
