Designed to fit standard 3.5" floppy drive bay, the CRU DataPort 25 removable hard drive enclosure offers a quick and easy way to access your bare 2.5" SATA HDDs. Up to two HDDs can be installed, and you can access both at the same time. This enclosure is ruggedly crafted with stainless steel for drive protection and enhanced heat dissipation. It consists of a receiving frame that’s mounted to the floppy bay of your chassis, and a removable drive carrier to which you secure the HDD.
The DataPort 25 provides you with reliable performance while protecting your data, making it a great choice for government agencies, digital cinemas, and SMB organizations that need robust, high-quality, removable drive enclosures to store, transport, and protect their sensitive data. The lock prevents theft and doubles as a power switch. An eject button allows easy pop-up and removal of the carrier. Power and drive activity LEDs let you know the drive status at a glance.

SATA IIIThis enclosure supports 6 Gbps, and is backwards compatible with 3 Gbps hosts and hard drives. You can get the best performance from your new drives.
Dual Drive SupportThis carrier accommodates two 2.5” drives at a time, and supports RAID 0 or 1 for enhanced performance and flexibility.
Power Keylock (frame feature)A lock is built in to prevent theft and accidental removal of the drive during operation. The lock also serves as a power switch. It must be engaged for the enclosure to power up and function properly. (Frame required, sold separately)
Eject Button (frame feature)An eject button makes carrier pop-up and removal a breeze. Press the Eject button once to release the button, and again to eject the carrier from the frame. (Frame required, sold separately)
Enhanced DurabilityThe drive connectors are tested and verified for over 25,000 insertions for hassle-free long-term use.
