Pros: 50mm drivers braided usb cable extra 3.5 mm jack great software -profiles -effect control (i.e. surround, bass, crystalizer, etc) -voice effects -equalizer -lighting control virtual 7.1 surround durable lighting detachable mic volume control mic mute buton
Cons: cable length detachable mic mic fuzz
Overall Review: this being my first gaming headset i didn't know what to expect but i am overall satisfied. the surround is obviously not true, only simulated. the sound quality is great and has a lot of bass. the software is what makes this headset stand out, as with all of its features above. the cable despite being short is fantastic. it seems to be quite durable as well. my major complaint is the microphone. it is detachable, but will somehow lose signal strength if rotated in its jack socket. the little fuzzy thing at the tip also comes off very easily, which can be annoying but avoided. overall i think it was a good purchase and my only regret is not saving for the wireless version.
ehh... nice try google
Pros: fairly lightweight, high resolution, quite snappy.
Cons: weird shape, screen has some glare. now for the big problems... first the hardware. relatively, it has no internal storage. 16 gigs without the os, which is about 9.5 gigs. the storage is cloud based and files are hard to access when offline. the processor is somewhat weak, a dual core samsung clocking in at 1.7 ghz. now, the os is its real downfall. it does not have any pre installed programs of use, and does not support many standard file types such as wmv movies. its main functionality lies within googles services, which are by no means bad, and actually account for one of the eggs i gave.
Overall Review: if you wok with lots of data or need horsepower, this is not the computer for you. however if all you do is use it for youtube, gmail, google movies, music, books ect, then it is basically a tablet tier laptop and a good buy. we got these for school since it revolves around computers. i personally think these would have more functionality running on android since chrome os is just not adequate to be a full fledged computer.
Pros: - Very attractive - High airflow - Support for multiple large radiators and a pump - lots of drive space - PSU window - Really good cable management system
Cons: - Flip tab to access front panel - Some dust filters require partial case disassembly. - Could stand to come with an additional 140mm fan - Strange front cable hiding sliders
Overall Review: This was my first Phanteks case. Cable management in the back is stellar with Velcro tie downs all along the rear of the motherboard tray and chassis. I didn't really need to plan my cable management or use any cable ties except for the CPU EPS power cable. I find the sliding covers for cable hiding near the front of the chassis strange and would have preferred rubber grommets, although they do a nice job of breaking up the interior and adding to the angular aesthetic. This case looks great in white paired with white hardware.
Quiet fan with PWM control
Pros: - Rubber standoffs on both sides - Includes cable extensions, a 3-pin adapter, and even a splitter - looks good inside a white build\ - Quiet
Cons: - Self boring screws (I realize this keeps cost down)
Overall Review: Its a good fan. Runs quiet, and comes with lots of extra accessories that made building much easier.
Quite, Stylish AIO
Pros: - Looks great with other white hardware, I paired with the Strix Z490-a - RGB control for fans and CPU block in Armoury Crate - Extremely quiet when tuned with Fan Xpert - Comes with a 5v aRGB (3 pin) splitter to use with the fans and one additional aRGB device - Good cooling performance
Cons: - Tubes could stand to be a bit longer - Difficult to hide the long pump header, I had some success routing under the retention bracket around the socket. - Block RGB element stays lit even when power is off and AURA is set to stealth in BIOS - The pump is often louder than the fans
Overall Review: I would only recommend this specific model if you are doing a white PC build, otherwise I would go with a black model instead. I am actively trying to resolve an issue that is preventing the RGB element in the CPU block from powering off with the rest of the system. Ultimately this is aesthetic and not relevant while the system is in use, so it does not impact my overall review.
Pros: ok, so i got this headset for some skyping and light gaming. these have exeded my expectations in many ways. they are light, adjustable, and have high quality. i've owned these for 6+ months and had little to no problems whatsoever. also since they are analog there was no drivers and what not so it was just plug and go right out of the box.
Cons: it is wired and some times i roll over the cord and get it tangled in my chair wheels. the only other thing is that they are so loosely fitted that they fall off my head or become dis-positioned on my head that's why i removed an egg. i've also had some friends say that its giving feed back but i suspect its a problem with their internet or soundcard because only 2 of them complain and the rest just tell them they are crazy.
Overall Review: high quality sound at a good price. decent bass range and again, very sharp, crisp, high quality sound. defiantly buy if it fits your needs. i will probably be upgrading to a 7.1 headset soon though.
