KOSS ED1TC 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Institutional Headphones

The KOSS ED1TC is a wired, supra-aural institutional headphone with a 3.5mm connector, suited to schools and other shared-use settings where cleanable plastic ear clips and housing are useful.

Recommended For

• Schools and libraries equipping shared computer stations where headphones need to be wiped down between users; Koss identifies the ED1TC for multi-user educational settings and says its plastic cups can be cleaned.
• Teachers or IT staff setting up basic wired audio for lessons, library listening, or computer-based learning on devices with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
• Training departments that issue headphones to different users and want an adjustable headband designed to fit a range of head sizes.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• In a school computer lab, students can listen to lesson audio or other computer-based materials through a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack; the on-ear fit helps reduce some surrounding noise, but the ED1TC has no microphone for spoken responses.
• For a classroom or library headphone pool, staff can wipe the plastic ear cups between users, making the ED1TC practical for shared listening where basic cleaning is part of daily handling.
• At a library listening station, a visitor can use the wired headphones for spoken-word or other audio from a compatible device, while the closed on-ear design helps limit some ambient noise and sound leakage.
• In a staff training room, attendees can plug the ED1TC into a compatible computer or other 3.5 mm audio source to follow recorded instruction without needing a wireless setup.
• When headphones rotate between younger and adult learners, the adjustable headband can accommodate a range of head sizes, so a shared set can serve different users.
