CANON CARTRIDGE 045 YELLOW

The Canon Cartridge 045 Yellow is a single yellow toner cartridge with an approximate yield of 1,300 pages, suitable for users of compatible Canon imageCLASS printers who need to replace yellow toner.

Recommended For

• Owners of a Canon imageCLASS LBP612Cdw, MF632Cdw, or MF634Cdw who need to replace the yellow toner cartridge; Canon lists Cartridge 045 Yellow for these models.
• Small-office users printing color documents, charts, or other materials that need yellow toner in one of the listed compatible printers.
• Users who prefer Canon-branded toner engineered for compatible Canon printers and who want the manufacturer’s recommended supply.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• When the yellow toner runs low in a compatible imageCLASS printer, replace it to restore yellow to color output; reports and charts that use yellow may otherwise print with altered colors.
• For home-office or small-business reports, newsletters, and web pages with color graphics, this cartridge helps the compatible printer produce the yellow portions of the document; it is intended for everyday graphics, not photo-quality output.
• When printing schoolwork or business documents with colored headings, diagrams, or highlights, replacing the yellow cartridge helps keep those color elements in the print; actual color output also depends on the other toner cartridges and the document.
• For routine color printing on a compatible LBP612Cdw or MF632Cdw, the standard-yield cartridge is suited to ongoing, moderate document use; Canon lists an approximate 1,300-page yield for yellow toner, though actual yield varies with print content and use.
• If you want to print family snapshots or photo-heavy images, this color laser setup is a less suitable choice: testing of the LBP612Cdw found its photo output poor compared with its performance on documents and graphics.
