StarTech 10m (33ft) Active High Speed HDMI Cable with Gripping Connectors, 4K 60Hz/1440p 144Hz, 18Gbps

The StarTech 10m (33ft) active High Speed HDMI cable is suited to PC or other HDMI setups that need a long reach to a display, with support for 4K at 60Hz or 1440p at 144Hz, up to 18Gbps, and gripping connectors; the connected devices must support the chosen video mode.

Recommended For

• AV installers wiring a conference room, classroom, or similar space where a source must reach a 4K display up to 10 m away without relying on a passive cable run.
• Home-theater users routing a 4K 60Hz source to a TV or projector across a room who want a long cable with connectors designed to resist accidental pulls or disconnections.
• PC users placing a display away from the computer who need up to 1440p at 144Hz over a 10 m HDMI connection.
• Installers connecting mounted displays or HDMI switches where a snug-fitting connector can help reduce accidental unplugging during handling or vibration.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• A home-theater user connects an AV receiver or media source to a TV or projector across the room, keeping equipment near the seating area while routing video and audio to the display. At compatible settings up to 4K 60Hz, the cable is designed for this long HDMI run; the source and display ends must be connected correctly.
• A user places a gaming PC or console away from a projector and runs HDMI across the room. The cable supports up to 4K 60Hz, so it suits compatible gaming setups that prioritize 4K at 60Hz rather than higher-bandwidth 4K refresh rates.
• A desktop PC connects to a 1440p gaming monitor positioned across a large room or workspace. With compatible source and display settings, the cable supports 1440p at up to 144Hz, allowing the monitor to use that high-refresh mode over the longer run.
• An office, classroom, or meeting room routes HDMI from a presentation source or switch to a mounted display. The 10m length can span the room, while the gripping connectors are intended to help reduce accidental unplugging at fixed or frequently used connections.
• A home user runs HDMI from a receiver or switch to a wall-mounted TV, projector, or display that is difficult to reach. The gripping connectors are designed to help keep the connection seated, which can be useful where cable movement or limited access makes accidental disconnection inconvenient.
