Brother PocketJet 8 PJ-862 Wireless Mobile Direct Thermal Printer Monochrome

The Brother PocketJet 8 PJ-862 is a compact, monochrome direct thermal printer with Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity, suited to mobile professionals who need to print full-page documents away from a desk.

Recommended For

• Field-service technicians who work from a vehicle or job site and need to print full-page work orders, service reports, or customer copies without carrying a desktop printer.
• Law-enforcement and public-safety staff who need to print citations, forms, or reports in a vehicle or away from an office, using a Bluetooth-connected device.
• Delivery and logistics workers who need to print full-page documents or forms during mobile routes and value a compact printer with Bluetooth connectivity.
• Mobile professionals such as home-healthcare workers or real-estate agents who need to print documents during visits rather than return to an office printer.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• A field-service technician finishes a repair at a customer’s home and prints an invoice or service report on site, so the customer can receive a paper copy before the technician leaves.
• A sales representative or contractor prepares a quote during a customer visit and prints it on the spot, making it easier to review the proposal together without returning to the office.
• A delivery or route-service worker prints a full-page invoice, order document, or report from a mobile device while away from the office, giving the customer a paper record at the stop.
• An inspector or maintenance worker completes a site visit and prints a report or form from a phone, tablet, or laptop, so paperwork can be handed over before leaving the location.
• A mobile worker prints from a compatible phone or tablet in a vehicle or other space with little room for office equipment; with a suitable power source or optional battery, the compact printer can provide a paper copy at the point of work.
