Brother PocketJet 822 Mobile Direct Thermal Monochrome Printer USB-C Connection

The Brother PocketJet 822 (PJ822) is a compact, mobile direct-thermal monochrome printer with USB-C connectivity, suited to field workers and mobile professionals who need to print documents or labels away from a desk.

Recommended For

• Field-service technicians who need to print full-page work orders, service reports, or customer paperwork at job sites instead of returning to the office.
• Public-safety personnel who print reports, citations, or warrants from a vehicle and value having full-page paperwork available in the field.
• Field sales, delivery, and logistics workers who need to hand customers printed quotes, invoices, or reports while away from a fixed office.
• Traveling professionals who need occasional full-page monochrome documents in a compact printer and are willing to use thermal paper rather than carry ink or toner supplies.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• During a traffic stop, an officer can print an eCitation in the vehicle and hand the driver a paper copy before leaving the scene; vehicle power or an optional battery is needed.
• After completing a repair at a customer’s site, a field-service technician can print job paperwork for review or a customer copy instead of returning to the office to print it.
• At a delivery stop, a driver can print an invoice or other handoff document for the recipient while still on the route, rather than relying only on a digital copy.
• On a customer visit, a mobile sales or real-estate professional can print a form or document for the customer to review or sign on site, reducing the need to send it later from the office.
• During a home-health visit, a mobile care worker can print visit-related paperwork at the patient’s location when a paper copy is needed, using a compatible device connected by USB-C.
