The Kramer C-MHM/MHM-1 is a 1-foot high-speed HDMI cable with Ethernet and molded male HDMI connectors at both ends, suited to connecting nearby video and audio devices.
Recommended For
- AV installers wiring a lectern, conference-room panel, or nearby source and display who need a short, flexible HDMI patch cable; Kramer’s product line is used in lectern installations, and this model is available in a 1 ft length.
- AV technicians or presenters who keep a compact spare cable for connecting HDMI equipment positioned close together; the series is marketed as flexible and has K-Lock connectors intended to help resist accidental disconnection.
- Users connecting nearby 4K displays or AV equipment that need video up to 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 color and compatible multichannel audio; Kramer specifies those capabilities for the 1 ft version.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- Connect a nearby laptop or dock to a monitor or projector at a desk or lectern; the short link carries video and audio without leaving much slack to manage.
- Link nearby AV equipment in a rack or presentation setup, such as a source device and a switcher; the 1 ft cable keeps the connection compact where the units are close together.
- Connect a console, Blu-ray player, or set-top box to a nearby TV; the cable provides a direct HDMI audio/video connection without a long coil behind the equipment.
- Use it as a short patch cable between adjacent HDMI ports in a presentation or AV setup; its flexible construction and K-Lock connectors are intended to help keep a close-range connection in place.
