LOADING...

The Nippon Labs 60HDMI-AOC-4K-45 is a 45-foot, male-to-male fiber-optic HDMI cable for connecting a source device to a TV, monitor, or projector over a long distance, with support for 4K at 60Hz and 18Gbps bandwidth. It suits home theater, studio, and commercial setups that need a long HDMI run.

Recommended For

  • Home-theater owners routing video from an AV receiver or media cabinet to a distant TV or projector, where a 45-foot run makes a fiber-optic HDMI cable useful; connect the marked Source end to the signal output and Display end to the screen.
  • People installing a fixed 4K/60Hz display run between rooms or across a large space who want to carry video without adding a separate HDMI extender; the cable is an active optical design rated for 18Gbps.
  • PC or workstation users connecting a computer to a remote 4K/60Hz monitor or large-format display, when the setup needs a long HDMI run rather than a short desk cable.

Real-World Use Scenarios

  • In a home theater, connect an AV receiver or media-player rack to a projector across the room; the 45-foot run can keep source equipment away from the screen while carrying compatible video up to 4K/60Hz. Connect the SOURCE end to the player or receiver and the DISPLAY end to the projector.
  • For a conference room or classroom, run video from a laptop, switcher, or AV rack to a distant projector; the long cable avoids placing the source beside the screen, provided the connected equipment supports the intended signal.
  • When a projector is mounted far from a console or media setup, use the cable to keep the source near the receiver or equipment area instead of moving it beside the projector; compatible setups can send video over the longer run, up to the cable’s 4K/60Hz capability.
  • For event visuals, connect a laptop or video source to a projector positioned across a venue; an active optical HDMI cable is a practical wired option for a long signal path, but its directional ends must be connected correctly.
