With a rugged, fully waterproof design, emergency features and a 35-mile range,* the T600 H2O keeps you connected and protected during your extreme outdoor activities. Its floating design enables the radio to float facing up for easy retrieval if you accidentally drop it into water, and the water-activated flashlight makes it easy to find. The flashlight also has red LED to preserve your night vision. NOAA weather channels with alert keeps you updated with severe weather conditions. And emergency feature allows you to transmit alert siren with a push of button to warn others of impending danger.
This radio has 22 FRS/GMRS channels, each with 121 privacy codes, so you can always find a clear channel. It also has iVOX/VOX hands-free capability, low battery alerts, and dual power options that allow you to remove depleted NiMH rechargeable battery (bundled) and pop in three AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) to minimize downtime. The included belt clip has a whistle built in, which you can use to signal to others you need help if you can't call out.

PTT Power Boost
Push-To-Talk (PTT) power boost allows you to extend the transmission range by increasing the transmitter power output. It also saves battery life when no power boost is necessary.

Two ways to power your radio. Use NiMH rechargeable batteries included for up to 9 hours. Or use 3 AA batteries on the go for up to 23 hours.

Keep updated with real-time weather conditions by turning on one of 11 weather channels or initiating weather alerts. NOAA radio service may not be available in all areas.

With a range of up to 35 miles and freedom to communicate wirelessly, the T600 won't slow you down. The range in real-life conditions can be reduced from maximum range.
