Brother Genuine TN229XL2PK High-yield Black Toner Cartridge Twin-Pack

The Brother Genuine TN229XL2PK is a twin-pack of high-yield black toner cartridges for users of compatible Brother color laser printers, including selected HL and MFC models, who want genuine toner for printing business documents.

Recommended For

• Owners of a Brother printer that accepts TN229XL toner who regularly print black-and-white documents and want two high-yield cartridges on hand; Brother rates each cartridge for up to 3,000 pages under ISO/IEC 19798 testing.
• Small-office teams that frequently print text-heavy materials—such as proposals, estimates, and business documents—and want to reduce how often they replace black toner. Brother positions the cartridge for high-volume printing, and RTINGS found sharp document output and high-yield toner options on a TN229-compatible printer.
• Users who specifically prefer Brother Genuine supplies over aftermarket toner and are willing to choose the brand’s cartridge for its stated compatibility and performance assurances. Community reports about aftermarket TN229 toner include cartridge-recognition problems, though those reports are individual experiences rather than proof of a widespread issue.
• Households or workgroups that print mostly documents rather than photos and want a spare black cartridge ready when the current one runs out; the twin pack contains black toner only, not a full set of color replacements.
