The Rosewill RNE-01 is a USB-C M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure for users who want fast external storage on compatible USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 computers, with support for SSDs up to 8TB and active fan cooling.
Recommended For
- Mac or Windows laptop users with a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port who move large project files and want a fast, pocketable NVMe drive; the host port and SSD both affect actual transfer speeds.
- Video editors, photographers, and other creators who regularly copy large media files or work from external storage and value fast transfers over a fanless design.
- Users repurposing a spare M.2 NVMe drive as a fast external work or transfer drive, provided they have a compatible USB4 or Thunderbolt host.
- People who frequently transfer large amounts of data and prefer an enclosure with active cooling rather than relying only on a passive heatsink.
