What is the recommended cooler to get with this CPU?

I got this one. Maybe a little overkill, but at my age, I want stability and performance from my hardware, and it isn't the top of the line cpu, but it gets the job done and it does it quietly.

Question 2

When I look at Microsoft's website, it does not show that this cpu is supported by Windows 11. Is it not supported?

It does.  What limits your ability to upgrade to Windows 11 is the TPM is likely disabled on your motherboard.  Once you enable that, you should be able to upgrade.  I was not wanting to upgrade to Win 11 so I purposefully disabled TPM on my motherboard bios but prior to that, Win Update said my PC was ready for Win 11 with this CPU installed.

Will my previous AMD Wraith Spire Cooler be mountable on this with new thermal paste?

It's the same socket, so yes- but make sure that the TDP of the CPU matches what the cooler is able to successfully cool. It's usually best to use an aftermarket cooler, especially if your CPU doesn't come with a stock cooler.

My BIO is already updated, my old AMD was a Ryzen 7 1700X so this should be a direct install right?

Will this work with the GIGABYTE B450M DS3H ? It says it supports AMD 5000 series but the 5700x is not on the CPU support page

It should have a beta bios on Gigabyte's website for you to flash your mother board and it will work fine, I have an MSI x470 Gaming Plus and the 5700x runs great on it, but I always keep my bios updated because it so easy to flash  them now. Gigabyte's support list is not updated to show it but if it list a 5600x it will run fine and Windows 11 run find on the 5700x also! which I should added that in my review about Windows 11

Make sure you update your BIOS to the P7.10 version before installing your new CPU though.
