The Lexmark Unison Original Return Program Black Laser Toner Cartridge is a genuine one-pack replacement for users of compatible Lexmark printers, including the CX950se, CX961se, CX963se, CS963e, CX833se and MX953se.
Recommended For
- Teams using a listed compatible Lexmark printer that regularly print black text documents and want a 15,000-page-rated cartridge between replacements.
- Offices replenishing black toner in a compatible color laser printer while its cyan, magenta, and yellow supplies are still usable; this cartridge supplies black only.
- Organizations that prefer genuine Lexmark supplies for a supported printer and prioritize consistent monochrome document quality using the printer’s Unison toner system.
- Businesses that can follow Lexmark’s Return Program terms and send the empty cartridge back for remanufacturing or recycling after use.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- When a compatible Lexmark printer reports that its black toner needs replacing, an office worker can swap in this cartridge using the printer’s toner-replacement steps and resume printing once it is installed.
- In an office printing frequent reports, forms, or other black-text documents, this cartridge replenishes the printer’s black toner; Lexmark lists a 15,000-page rated yield, though actual pages depend on coverage and print-job conditions.
- For a compatible color multifunction printer handling mixed color and black-and-white work, replacing this black cartridge restores the black-toner supply without requiring replacement of the other color cartridges.
- A workplace can keep a spare on hand for a compatible printer so staff can respond to a low-toner message with a replacement; check the exact printer model and cartridge compatibility before stocking it.
- After the cartridge reaches the end of its rated life, users enrolled in the Return Program should return it to Lexmark for remanufacturing or recycling; the cartridge is designated for single use and may stop working with toner still inside.
