The POLY Blackwire 3320 USB-A is a wired stereo headset with a noise-canceling boom mic, wideband audio, and plug-and-play USB-A connectivity, suited to professionals who need clear audio for calls on a compatible PC or Mac.
Recommended For
- Desk-based professionals who spend much of the day on Teams, Zoom, or other voice calls and want a wired USB-A headset with a boom mic and inline call controls.
- Home-office users who prefer a wired connection for calls and do not want to manage a wireless headset’s battery; community recommendations mention the 3320 for work-from-home calling.
- Small offices or teams equipping staff for routine calls and meetings where straightforward USB setup and a business-call focus matter more than premium construction or advanced noise handling.
- People who want sound in both ears for meetings and speech-focused work, with an adjustable boom mic and padded headband and ear cushions.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For recurring Teams or Zoom meetings at a desk, the wired USB-A connection keeps the headset ready for calls without charging or pairing; the boom mic and stereo audio support two-way conversation.
- When working from home in a relatively quiet room, users can take work calls while the noise-reducing boom mic helps keep their voice prominent; it should not be treated as a guarantee that louder household or street noise will disappear.
- For an office equipping multiple employees with a straightforward call headset, USB-A plug-in use can simplify everyday setup for compatible computers, while the inline controls make common call adjustments accessible at the desk.
- During calls in a shared or noisy room, the microphone may reduce some competing sound, but comparative testing found it less effective in higher-noise conditions than some alternatives; it is better suited to quieter workspaces than loud environments.
- For occasional gaming voice chat on a computer, the headset can serve as a wired alternative to a gaming headset when clear communication matters more than gaming-specific features.
