The StarTech ST121WHDS2 is a plug-and-play wireless HDMI extender kit that sends 4K at 60Hz up to 165ft (50m), without requiring line of sight or a cable between the transmitter and receiver. It suits home or business setups that need to connect a distant display, including displays in cabinets or media closets.
Recommended For
- Conference-room, classroom, and trade-show presenters who need to send an HDMI source to a distant projector or display while keeping a local display connected through the transmitter’s HDMI output.
- AV installers connecting a screen to a source tucked away in a media cabinet or closet, especially when running a video cable between locations is inconvenient and remote infrared control is useful.
- Digital-signage and house-of-worship teams that need to send an HDMI feed to a remote display without a direct line of sight, provided the installation environment allows a reliable wireless signal.
- Fixed AV setups moving a 4K 60Hz HDMI source to a remote TV or projector where avoiding a long cable run matters more than mobile, battery-powered operation.
