The WD_BLACK SN8100 NVMe SSD is a 2TB internal solid state drive for consumer use in gaming PCs and workstations. Its PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface, M.2 2280 form factor and included heatsink provide a high-performance storage solution for compatible systems.

Performance

The drive delivers up to 14900 MBps sequential read and up to 14000 MBps sequential write performance. Random performance reaches up to 2,300,000 IOPS for 4KB random read and up to 2,400,000 IOPS for 4KB random write. Active power consumption is 6.5W during read and 7.0W during write, while Sleep (PS4) power consumption is 5 mW.


Design

This internal SSD uses an M.2 2280 form factor and includes a heatsink. It measures 80mm wide, 22mm deep and 11.25mm high, with a weight of 31.2g.
